 Jowens solved it also and mentioned that clues which need to be exactly correct can be really tricky, and I can really see why. Ah, well. Live and learn.

No problem.  For me, it was about right and I didn't find it boring at all.

Got it, very nice, no bugs.  The "3" in the first entry was a nice touch as it demonstrated, without the need for any extraneous text, exactly how the solution works.
