So you've decided to join the ranks of puzzle hunters?  Don't know what to do now?  Here are some resources to help you get started exploring this wonderful new world (please feel free to add; I'll edit this post to include new entries):

General

Event Websites
  • Shinteki Decathlon - A twelve-hour day game put on annually by professionals.
  • Bay Area Night Game - A 4-6 hour Bay Area event hosted by volunteers, usually 2-3 times a year.
  • Different Area Same Hunt - A nation-wide puzzle hunt similar to the BANG, but hosted in multiple cities throughout the US.
  • 2 Tone Game - An "at your own pace" puzzle hunt in San Francisco, with options to play while living at a distance.

Blogs
  • CKL's Hotsheet - Commentary by Curtis and DeeAnn of Team Snout.  Includes links to their "Snoutcast" podcast, talking about Game issues and interviewing members of the Game community.
  • Larry Hosken's Anecdotal Evidence - Writeups and commentary by the author of the 2 Tone Game on many Bay Area hunts in the past six or seven years.
  • Puzzalot - My own attempt to preserve my memories from various puzzle hunts.  With some attempts at determine puzzle hunt origins and occasional blathering.
